Not only are Natalie and Derek in love, but their photographer fell head over heels, too. I absolutely adore Natalie and Derek and I was swept away by the serenity of Bald Head Island. It is sort of funny to me that this wedding ended up getting published by Weddings Unveiled Magazine before I even finally got around to blogging it. I’ve wanted to share it for a while. Natalie and Derek are exquisite people who I thoroughly enjoyed from the moment I met them. We shared a lot of fun and humor during the entire wedding planning process and during their engagement sitting. I was really excited to photograph their wedding because not only were they of course in love they were also super inspired about designing their perfect wedding day. Natalie is a retail interior designer for IKEA and she added lots of thoughtful DIY touches. All of their love and vision combined with the talent of well-selected vendors and the beauty and uniqueness of Bald Head Island created a wedding that was by no surprise amazing.
