Lovely Blogs and Wedding Resources

You’ll find me featured in these

beautiful places:

Welcome!  I’m Angela Stott, a photographer based in the Southeastern US (and Southeast Asia in Bangkok, Thailand at intervals) and this is my blog.

I’m granted the honor of photographing many beautiful weddings, couples, families and children who entrust me to make artful records of the special moments in their lives.  I have such an amazing job and I’m grateful for the passion I have for my work.

I’m also a mother and a native of NC.  We moved back from distant places in 2007 to be near family and we are loving the Southern life again.

Enjoy your time here perusing the blog and check back for updates often. Also, dig back - there is a lot of work to see and it’s worth visiting the buried pages.  Full weddings are featured here, magazine covers, book and blog features and awards….etc.

If you want to see a more comprehensive portfolio of my work then please go to the Angela Stott Photography website or if you just want to find out an eensy bit more about me then you can go here.  Have fun and thank you so much for visiting!

One Light Workshop with Zach Arias in Norfolk, VA

A year and a half ago my sister, Eleise Theuer hosted the One Light Workshop with Zach Arias.  My sister’s home was a perfect space for it and we were able to produce some stunning shots on her property and neighborhood in Ghent in Norfolk, VA.  Zach is a fantastic teacher and incredibly humble, sweet and intelligent.  Eleise and I had a great time talking until crazy late hours of the evening with him on the front steps.  He’s an easy guy to make friends with and it was an honor to learn from one of the most talented photographers of our day.  It seemed like within 24 hours after the workshop everyone who had attended the workshop posted their shots on their blogs.  I’ve finally decided to pull them out to share.  Happy New Year!

My sister’s laundry room:

Josephine is such a good dog.  Lots of commotion.
